EXPLANATION:
As of June 22, 2011, there have been 494 fugitives on the “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. 465 individuals appearing on the list have been located, the latest being James (Whitey) Bulger who was captured last month in Santa Monica.
There have been 8 women on the list, the first, Ruth Eisemann-Schier, was added in 1968 for kidnapping, extortion, and other crimes.
